LIGHT SENSITIVE
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsMankind is a spirit. He has a soul and he lives in a body. Your spirit, if it is born from above, is connected to God (John 3:3-7). Your spirit is where the Life of God is. You soul is your mind will and emotions. Your body, of course, is all of your physical qualities. The purpose of this writing is to focus on our spirit. The Bible tells us that the entrance of His Word gives light (PSALM119:130).
The light from His Word illuminates our spirit and gives us direction. So, our spirit is light sensitive. What do I mean by light sensitive? I mean that our spirit picks up the Light of God’s Word and the light is imprinted there — the Word is imprinted on our spirits. Our spirit is like print film that is put in a camera. When a picture is taken an image is produced on the film. A photograph is developed by what is called a mixing bath — or a bath that is made of mostly water. The Bible speaks of the washing of the water by the Word (Ephesians 5:26). As we peruse over the Word, we are taking pictures. Those pictures are developed as we speak the Word.
Without the speaking of the Word, a picture cannot properly develop. In essence The Word is developed in our spirit by the positive confession of God’s Word. The more the Word is spoken, the closer we get to that word picture coming into our three dimensional world. Our spirit is the production center. However, speaking the proper words is a vital part of that production. We must be very watchful of our words. Why? Because what you say is what you get. Again, what you say creates word pictures on your spirit. It’s just a matter of time when speaking certain words, that our words will come into existence — into physical manifestation. -AWM

YOU DON’T HAVE TO STUMBLE
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsProverbs 4:23 The Modern Language Bible
{23} Then you will walk in your way confidently and will not stumble.
Stumbling connotes a lack of light. This is what I mean: You wake up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water or to go to the proverbial rest room. You didn’t turn on any lights in your bedroom because you didn’t want to wake your spouse. Before you get to your destination you stub your toe on one of the bed posts. Why did this happen? There was not a sufficient amount of light for you to see the bed post and miss the toe jam.
Perhaps you are in a room that is poorly lighted; instead of turning on a light to increase your vision in the room, you creep around trusting you can find what you are looking for. You accidentally step on one of your children’s toys causing you to lose your balance and stumble into the coffee table, braking one of its legs. Again, an insufficient amount of light caused the incident.
Still, another time you are just for sure that you should go to the company party that they are having. You recognize that many of the individuals going to the party are not God fearing people, but you are looking for an opportunity to witness, and possibly bring someone into the Kingdom of God. When you arrive at the party you realize that there are personalities that would rather you not be there, so they begin telling off color jokes just to see how far they can push you (Proverbs 4:14-17 TLB).
Will you stay at the party or will you be dishonored by their constant lack of respect for you and the God that you serve? Instead of taking the hint, you stay. Then somebody cracks open a bottle of alcohol. You insist on witnessing, but the crowd couldn’t care less about you and your God. After about three hours the party really begins to take a dive; without prior notice you realize that someone has hired a troop of exotic dancers. Suddenly, you figure out that the light that you have has no association with the darkness at this party (2 Corinthians 6:14-17, Ephesians 5:11-17). You finally accept the fact that it is time for you to exit this party.
On many occasions believers all over the world are confronted with scenarios similar to the one you’ve just read. Actually we are light (Mathew 5:14-16). It is up to us to be sensitive to what we have on the inside of us and share it with whom He directs us too. On many occasions we don’t have to say a word; just let the light that is within us be the witness. The light that is within us will speak more than our words ever will. What God has put in us is a lot stronger than our words (Colossians 1:27).
Don’t misunderstand me, I believe we should witness verbally; but something happens when we live before the unbeliever what was bought for us through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord. The Bible supports the fact that we have been delivered from darkness.
Colossians 1:13 New Living Translation
{13} For He has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness,
and has brought us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.[See also John 12:46, 2 Corinthians 4:6, 1 Peter 2:9]
Because we have been delivered from darkness we have the ability to walk in the Light as He is in the Light (1John 1:7). That means that there will be no cause for stumbling; or staggering around in the dark. The very fact that we have been delivered from darkness means that there is no darkness on the inside of us. Our spirit has the Life and Nature of God in it (2 Peter 1:4).
The book of Ezekiel puts it this way:
Ezekiel 36: 25-27 NKJV
{25} Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will
cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.{26} I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take
the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.{27} I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes,
and you will keep My judgments and do them.Either God did what He said He would, or Ezekiel told a falsehood. You and I both know that this happened; if you are born again. If our spirit has the life and Nature of God in it, then God’s light is resident on the inside of us. A good example is “The Tabernacle” in the wilderness. In the Holy of Holies there was no darkness. It was illuminated by the “Shekinah Glory,” which was radiating from above the Mercy Seat (Isaiah 37:16, Exodus 25:22, Psalm 80:1). You and I are portable tabernacles. Wherever we go we take the Light of God’s Glory with us.
In John 8:12 Jesus said that He was the Light of the world. If we follow Him, we would not walk in darkness, but have the “Light of Life.”
Psalms 119:105 tells us that the word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. That means that if we walk the way we are supposed to, we will know where we are going — as well as our walk with God will be illuminated with the Light of God. The entrance of His Word, gives Light (Psalms 119:130).
Walking in Love the vital key:
1 John 2:10–11 NKJV
{10} He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
{11} But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and
does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. The word stumbling in the Greek is skandalon; this is where we get the English word scandal. This word means, any impediment placed in the way and causing one to stumble. Any person or thing by which one is (entrapped) drawn into error or sin; is a stumbling block.
Verse 10 can be read this way: There is no cause for scandal in him. There is an enormous amount of power given to us, if we would walk in the God Kind of Love. Verse 11 goes on to tell us that if we hate our brother we walk in darkness; and don’t know where we are going. We become blind, short-sighted and cannot see a far off by failing to walk in Gods Love. If someone is blind it is obvious that they can’t see where they are going. Not knowing where you are going connotes a lack of light. A lack of light is formed by failing to walk in the God quality of Love. The decision is yours. See 2 Peter 1:1-11.

” A GOOD REPORT”
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsAs a servant of the “Most High God,” I have a heritage, a vindication, a justification that reads like this: Any weapon that any foe or enemy can array against me is rendered null and void because of my Covenant with God Almighty; through the blood of my Lord and Savior The Lord Jesus Christ. I am marked, and set apart by “The Blood of Jesus.” It is a “Bloodline” that my enemies cannot cross.
My entire being has taken upon it the very nature of Christ. The Blood of Jesus has an effect on every portion of my body (ever cell well), driving out every manner of sickness and all manner of disease. My DNA in essence has been changed. I have been given a transfusion that replaces my old, defective nature; with the very Nature of God flowing through my veins.
I am a child of the “Most High God.” My Father's genetic make-up is flawless, thus allowing the Spirit of God to quicken my mortal body the moment anything of a fallen nature tries to infiltrate my being. Being a believer in “The Lord Jesus Christ, I am redeemed from the curse of the law…(Galatians 3:13-14). Because I am Christ's, then I am Abraham's seed and an heir according to “The Promise” (Galatians 3:29).
Because I am a descendant of Abraham I have many wonderful promises of long life and good health, simply because I am in his bloodline. The curses mentioned in Deuteronomy 28; I no longer qualify for. So be it… -AWM

THE TABLE of MY HEART
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsThere are several scriptures which refer to writing. First of all, we look at what is said in Psalms.
Psalms 45:1 (KJV)
{1} My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
In this verse, the tongue is liken to that of a pen. Not just a pen of a writer, but a ready writer. The tongue must be as skillful as a ready writer. The tongue must also be as discriminating as a ready writer.
A ready writer doesn’t just allow anything to come across his or her pen. Neither should we just allow anything to come across our tongue and lips. In the above verse, speaking is put in the same category as writing. Where are we writing? On the table of our heart. A table is a piece of furniture that holds things. I am thinking of a kitchen table that holds food. Most of the things we partake of or eat, would be on a kitchen table.
Proverbs 18:20-21 (NKJV)
{20} A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
{21} Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Notice the writer says a man’s belly will be filled. How? By the words of his mouth. The increase of his lips fill him. According to verse twenty one, that increase is either good or evil, death or life. By the words of our mouth, we set the table. By the words of our mouth, we eat the fruit that we have put on that table. The table is the part of our heart that holds our mind, will, and emotions. If we don’t like what we are eating, the best thing to do is to change what we put on the table of our heart— alter what we are saying. How? By having enough discipline to put a watch on our words. Are you speaking life to your life or something that will not satisfy? Are you satisfied by what you have on your table? If not change your words. Is your tongue the pen of a ready writer? -AWM
