    MY SOURCE

    Filed under: PROSPERITY;

Father, I thank-you, that You are “My Source.” My job is not my source. The economy is not my source. My provision is not limited to my job. My provision is not limited to natural things.

Father God, You are “My Source.” El Shaddai, is “My Source.” I look to You, for everything.

My God supplies all my need and my desires according to His riches in Glory. I have a “full supply” and I shall not, I do not, I will not want.

I am not high-minded, nor do I trust in uncertain riches, but my trust is in the “Living God,” who gives me richly all things to enjoy.

I live better than my job income allows and I am debt free. I am financially free to worship the Living God.
    So be it.

    FROM BRIAN TRACY:

Here are two things you can do immediately to practice these principles in your day to day life:

First, start thinking today in a positive, optimistic, confident way about personal and financial success. Continually imagine what differences it would make in your life if you were financially independent. This is the starting point of developing a prosperity consciousness.

Second, develop your own attitude of positive expectations. Look for the good in every situation. Look for the valuable lesson in every setback or difficulty. Be positive and cheerful in everything that happens and you will be amazed at the difference it makes in your life.

In Philippians 4:17 the Jewish New Testament makes an astounding statement concerning the giving and receiving of the saints.

{17} I am not seeking the gift; rather, I am looking for what will increase the credit balance of your account.

The backdrop of this whole passage of scripture is that the Philippian church was very supportive in their giving to the Apostle Paul. Because of their generosity Paul wanted to commend them. We not only get a good look at the Apostle’s heart but we see his desire for them to receive as a result of their giving.

You see, it’s not only giving — but it is also receiving. What good is giving, if we don’t expect to receive a return from that which we have given? To what benefit is it for a farmer to labor to put seed into the ground, if he never expected a harvest? It would be absolutely asinine for a farmer to plant his seed but never expect a crop. No, my friend the farmer expects a harvest from his efforts. You, like the farmer should expect a return. The return is not your motivation — your motivation is out of love and obedience to the Lord. Because of your love; coupled with your giving, the credit balance of your account goes up. The credit balance of your account is not based on this world’s economy, but Heavens. Each time you give, your heavenly credit balance goes to the positive — the credit balance of your account increases.

Did you notice that {V:17} says it is your account—your credit balance? Now, if something is yours that means that you have authority over it. You, have the authority over your credit balance account. This simply means that at any given time you can make a withdrawal from your account; if you have made regular deposits. No deposits, no withdrawals—no giving, no receiving; it’s that simple.

    Matthew 6:19-21 New King James

{19} Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

{20} but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth, nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

{21} For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Your giving is a spiritual service that you must not take lightly. The spiritual dimension of your life is tied to your giving. Your giving is the foundation of where your credit balance may be. It is not the size of your gift that increases your account; but the size of your faith —- the size of your heart. Remember the widows two mites (Mark 12:41-44)?

Jesus sat opposite of the treasury and observed how people put money into it. Evidently something was communicated as they were giving. I submit to you, He could see their attitude in their giving. He then called His disciples, and gave them an object lesson, using the widow and her two mites.

The widow was commended for giving more. Why? Because it really meant something to her to give what she gave. Could it be she was more appreciative, than the others? Could it be the widows level of faith was greater than those who had given out of their abundance? Could it be that she gave with an attitude of gratitude, while the others just gave? The widows giving cost her more than the others. Her credit balance went to another level.

The thing about giving is you must realize that God does not always give back to us in Franklin’s — $100.00 dollar bills. This is what I mean: When you are faithful in your giving, your credit balance goes up. The return on your giving might be a suit of clothing, a brand new dress; or an all expense trip paid for to the Cayman Islands. Perhaps someone wants to give you something that may not be Franklin’s — but it is equivalent. This all transpired because of your obedience to give, which caused your credit balance to increase.

Giving should be a faith attitude. Our faith is the substance; the material side of things we are hoping for, the proof of things not yet visible to our five physical senses.(Hebrews 11:1). -AWM

“I decree that in this season of life, I will not be left out. I am included in the outpouring of God's Favor and Miraculous Provision. Something is turning loose deep inside me and will manifest in the natural, not many days from now. This is my season to build a Memorial unto God for His Glory. I shall decree a thing and it shall be established in the Name of Jesus.”

    Job 22:27-28 (KJV)

{27} Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and He shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

{28} Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
