THE DINNER BELL
Filed under: Healing; No CommentsSeveral years ago, in the early farming days there used to be a bell that hung out by the farmhouse. That bell’s purpose was to call for the farmers for meal time. It basically would be rung for one reason – it was dinner time.
During the years of the Healing Revival in mid to late forties there was an evangelist by the name of Raymond T. Richey. He had a marvelous miracle ministry. It is noted and photographed the numerous crunches, braces, and remedial aids etc., that were discarded because they were no longer needed. It is reported that Mr. Richey had a catchphrase. The phrase was that “Divine Healing” was “The Dinner Bell.” Mr. Richey rang that bell, and people came from numerous walks of life, young and old.
In my study of The Word of God it is Gods will to heal today. The gifts of The Spirit did not go out with the last Apostle, as some have so erroneously stated. Healing is for all, as the scriptures so eloquently affirm and announce. In fact one of the major ministries of Jesus was healing the sick. The only thing that stopped Him and caused Him to marvel was the unbelief of the people in Mark 6:5. He marveled at their unbelief, and could there do no mighty work It didn’t say He wouldn’t, it says that He couldn’t. He could only help those with minor ailments. If I am not mistaken the only thing that caused Him to marvel was their UNBELIEF. On the contrary He marveled because of the centurions’ faith (Matthew 8: 5-10).
Is it any different today? Can unbelief be one of those things that keep God’s healing power at bay for us today? We must ask ourselves this question. Is unbelief keeping me from one of God’s greater blessings? We must keep in mind that Jesus went to the Cross to redeem us from poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. Jesus also said:
Luke 4:18 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, -Peace

NEVER BETTER
Filed under: Healing; No CommentsI was watching a motion picture entitled, “The Awakening.” One of the major characters in this movie was played by Robert DeNiro. The character he played was often asked how he was doing? The character’s response on a number of occasions was never better ! The DeNiro character was suffering from a severe medical condition which rendered his mental and many motor skills challenged. At one point the character was administered a drug that reversed the affects of the condition. Sadly, the condition returned. This experience highlighted the limitations of medical science.
Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not opposed to medical help and it’s accomplishments. Most of us would not be alive had it not been for medical accomplishments. However, the purpose of this article is to bring to light God’s Word which is His medicine. His Word never has negative side affects. God’s Word is God’s medicine.
Proverbs 4:22 (KJV)
{22} For they are life unto those that find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh.
The thing that we must learn to do is take God’s medicine (His Word) as we should. Medicine in pill form for the most part is taken by the mouth. We must must put it in our mouth. If we follow the instructions of medical science, how much more should we follow His instructions?
We should take our gos-pills as directed. We take our gos-pills by the mouth. In other words, His Word must be spoken to get the maximum results. Once we have put His Word into our mouths, it’s just a matter of time until we see results.
These instructions were first demonstrated by God when He created the Heavens and the earth. It is documented in Genesis 1:20 through 28 that God said. In verse {31} it states God saw. What He said with His mouth He finally saw with His eyes. You and I have the same creative ability. We create our world by the words of our mouths. Our world is framed by the words we speak.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
{3} Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
We are framed by our words (Proverbs 6:2; 18:20-21 * Proverbs 15). Some may be concerned that they are lying if they speak positive about any adverse condition. Well, a real life example is Abraham.
Romans 4:17-22 (KJV)
{17} (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
{18} Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
{19} And being not weak in faith, he (Abraham) considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
{20} He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
{21} And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
{22} And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
You and I should always speak the desired results (Mark11:23-24). In other words, speak the answer, not the problem. If you want more problems, then speak the problem. If you want the answer to your problems, then speak the answer – the desired results. They are found in the Word of God. Should we deny the problem? No, we should never allow any problem to the best of our ability, dictate what we will, or will not do. One of the redeeming qualities of the DeNiro character was that in the midst of negative circumstances, he spoke the answer. The answer we have is based on God’s Word, not medical science. Our answer should be, ‘NEVER BETTER,’ or something similar to that. Think about it! -AWM

HOT FLASHES
Filed under: Healing, Holy Ghost Encounters; No Commentsby Anthony N. Wade
It was a Wednesday evening service at a church in Nelsonville, OH. I was in my normal mode of operation as a guest speaker. I was introduced by the pastor and sang a couple of songs to prepare the congregation for the ministry of the Word of God. Suddenly, during the teaching of the Word, I was interrupted by the Holy Ghost with Words of Knowledge (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
For me, the Word of Knowledge works by hearing “The Holy Ghost” whisper something to me. It comes as a suggestion, thought, or idea. It also comes to me as an “Inward Intuition.” The inward intuition is an inward knowing of a need, or needs in the congregation. The Word of Knowledge also comes to me by physically feeling specific symptoms of the members in the congregation.
During this meeting, there were two outstanding words that came to me. The first one was concerning couples having difficulty in their marriage. I called it out and asked the couples to stand. One couple stood and I was directed by “The Holy Spirit” to pray for them with the “Laying on of Hands” (Hebrews 6:1-2). As I prayed, there was a release in them and me as well. I knew on the inside of me that God had met their need.
The next thing that I encountered has never happened to me again since this particular meeting. I sensed a “hot flash.” This feeling stayed with me for a while, so I called it out. Sure enough there were several women who had been experiencing “hot flashes.” I had the women stand, and then come to the front to be prayed for. As they came forward I explained what I was experiencing. During my explanation one of the ladies interrupted me by exclaiming, “you probably felt it.” I let her know she was correct. Afterwards, I prayed for them with the laying on of hands. There was a transference of power released from my hands into their bodies. As far as I was concerned they all received what they were looking for from God. AWM

HEALING…OUR INHERITANCE!
Filed under: Healing; No Commentsby Anthony N. Wade
All to often when we think of our inheritence we instinctively think that we will receive it after someone has died. That thought for the most part is not incorrect, but for many incomplete. If we think of our spiritual inheritence as something that we will receive after we die, we are sadly mistaken.
The Lord Jesus Christ went to the Cross and died not just for our sins, but also for our sicknesses, and poverty as well (Isaiah 53:4-5;2 Corinthans 8:9).
Our inheritence is three-fold in nature. We’ve been redeemed from poverty, sickness, and the second death. I have enclosed a little writing by a very anointed writer.
HEALING IS YOUR INHERITANCE!
If you put all the wealthy families in the world together, they couldn’t give you the inheritence that you have in God. You are an heir through Jesus Christ to the blessing of Abraham.
We have an inheritance and we don’t have to die to get it. Jesus has already died to get it for us. Jesus bore the curse of the law so that the blessing could come upon you and me.
Jesus has redeemed us from the entire curse –not just from sin, but from the results from sin — from every bad thing that came into this earth as a result of sin. The Bible says every sickness and disease is under the curse
(Deuteronomy 28:15-68).So you can’t have anything today that Jesus didn’t Himself pay the price for you to be whole. He took your place and He took your curse.
