    LIGHT SENSITIVE

    Filed under: Uncategorized;

    Mankind is a spirit. He has a soul and he lives in a body. Your spirit, if it is born from above, is connected to God (John 3:3-7). Your spirit is where the Life of God is. You soul is your mind will and emotions. Your body, of course, is all of your physical qualities. The purpose of this writing is to focus on our spirit. The Bible tells us that the entrance of His Word gives light (PSALM119:130).

    The light from His Word illuminates our spirit and gives us direction. So, our spirit is light sensitive. What do I mean by light sensitive? I mean that our spirit picks up the Light of God’s Word and the light is imprinted there — the Word is imprinted on our spirits. Our spirit is like print film that is put in a camera. When a picture is taken an image is produced on the film. A photograph is developed by what is called a mixing bath — or a bath that is made of mostly water. The Bible speaks of the washing of the water by the Word (Ephesians 5:26). As we peruse over the Word, we are taking pictures. Those pictures are developed as we speak the Word.

    Without the speaking of the Word, a picture cannot properly develop. In essence The Word is developed in our spirit by the positive confession of God’s Word. The more the Word is spoken, the closer we get to that word picture coming into our three dimensional world. Our spirit is the production center. However, speaking the proper words is a vital part of that production. We must be very watchful of our words. Why? Because what you say is what you get. Again, what you say creates word pictures on your spirit. It’s just a matter of time when speaking certain words, that our words will come into existence — into physical manifestation. -AWM
