{20} Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

The preceding verse is one of my favorites. Why? Because it is loaded with a large amount of information that describes who we are, what we have, and what we can do “In Him.” This verse proclaims the ability that was imparted to us when we made The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. To be honest with you we really should back up and study the whole third chapter. However, time, and space will not permit me to do that in this writing. My purpose is to lift verse twenty out of it's setting to illustrate a point. That point being, that we should renew our minds to eventually think in line with (Romans 12:1-3).

It's Unto Him

Now unto Him that is able. We must first comprehend that it is He who is able to do. He not only is able to do, but He is willing to do. My friends, it's not only good to understand that He is able. We must graduate to the mindset that He is willing to do any and everything to make us the success that we desire to be. That success must line up with the scriptures. (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Exceeding Abundance

Wow! He is willing to exceed abundance in our lives. One may ask, “How do we get to the point that our life is exceeding abundance?” It's tied to what you think, believe, and what you say. It is a known fact that what we think, controls what we believe. What we believe, has a direct affect on what we say. What we say determines the outcome of our lives, be it positive or negative (Mark 11:23-24).

If we think positive, we believe positive. If we believe positive, we speak positive. If we speak positive our lives will embrace attributes that are positive. It is “In Him,” that we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28). The final result is really in our hands, or shall I say in our mouths. Why do I take this stance? Because He has already given us everything for a successful existence

{3} According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
